I Let Myself Heal — Trance Symphonic — Yves Ruhlmann

I Let Myself Heal is a word of consent. Its title speaks the surrender of control, the moment when one ceases to hold back. It is the briefest and most concentrated work of the corpus, focused on a single inner disposition : letting go.

Composed by Yves Ruhlmann according to the principles of Trance Symphonic Music, tuned in The Living Scale and at 432 Hz, it accompanies rather than solicits. It addresses what is universal in whoever listens to it — that part which, at times, asks only for rest.

Notes on the work

I Let Myself Heal is the shortest of the works of the corpus : about ten minutes, where the others unfold over more ample durations. This brevity is a deliberate choice — the work aims at a single thing, and holds to it.

Its title takes healing as its subject, in the sense of inner alignment rather than a medical aim : the work works upon relaxation, the loosening of tensions, the return to a simple foundation. The choir — forty voices of the Sofia Session Orchestra & Choir, recorded in Sofia — and the orchestra hold a soothed register here, according to the symmetrical architecture proper to Trance Symphonic Music, tuned in The Living Scale and at 432 Hz.

Like the other works, I Let Myself Heal also exists in its separate voices — choir, strings, winds, percussion.
