The concert is the place where the work is lived in shared presence. The song of the musicians and the choristers, the attention of the seated assembly, the resonance of a place — cathedral, hall, festival — each of these elements takes part in what unfolds when a Symphoniya work is performed live.
Two forms take place in this space.
The concerts are live performances of the orchestral works, by orchestra, choir and solo voices. They take place in halls, cathedrals, festivals — each edition carrying its own context, its own cast, its own acoustics. Yves Ruhlmann conducts or collaborates according to the occasion.
The Cérémonies du Vivant are a particular form of concert, distinct in its dimension of embodied encounter. The central place of water, polyphonic mantra, diffusion through the ShinVav Audio loudspeakers — the Cérémonie holds together shared listening and presence to what circulates between beings. A page of its own is devoted to it, where the form unfolds beyond any particular edition.
What follows is the list of upcoming editions — concerts and Cérémonies alike, in chronological order. Each edition opens onto its own page, where the practical information and the work performed are to be found.
Announcements of the editions are received through The Symphoniya Letter.
