The composer
Franco-Swiss composer, founder of Symphoniya.

Yves Ruhlmann trained in the most prestigious institutions of European learned academic music — the Accademia Chigiana in Siena, where he worked under the direction of Luis Bacalov, the Licinio Refice Conservatory, the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Lyon — through to the Villa Medici in Rome. There he received the full technique of an art.
His true path began beyond these studies : a long work of research on musical language as a living language, a bearer of meaning — where numbers, sounds, forms and colours carry a significance of their own. From this work were born the compositional foundations that characterise his work. Musique Code Cantique, a method of translation that makes the song of the word audible. Trance Symphonic Music, a cathedral of sound in the service of consciousness. The Living Scale, a natural tuning that brings living music into being. Three inseparable pillars — the compositional writing proper to Symphoniya.
His first Trance Symphonic work, Peace and Love — Trance Symphonic, was composed in 2022, its choral parts recorded in Sofia. In 2024, he composed, recorded and conducted Love and Gratitude — Trance Symphonic with the Sofia Session Orchestra & Choir — a work dedicated to the work of Doctor Masaru Emoto, presented in Japan at the World Water Festival, before more than two thousand spectators in the open air and one hundred thousand participants online.
In 2023, he founded Symphoniya, in the Vallée de Joux, in Switzerland, to give this work the coherent universe it called for. He remains its founder ; the universe exceeds him, and is intended to welcome, beyond him, what inscribes itself within its intention.
Eighteen years of research on the genesis of musical language are set down in a forthcoming book, 1093, la Genèse du langage musical — the first volume of a larger written work.
The works born of this path are encountered in Works.
