A cookie is a small text file saved on your device (computer, tablet, smartphone) when you visit a website. It allows the site to recognise the device concerned for a limited validity period, and to remember certain information related to your browsing.
On the Site, we may use, in particular, the following categories: strictly necessary cookies, indispensable to the functioning of the Site and of online sales (basket management, session authentication, securing of forms); functional cookies, which remember your preferences (language, display settings); audience measurement cookies, used to establish anonymised or pseudonymised traffic statistics in order to improve the Site.
Depending on the configuration of your browser, some cookies may be subject to your consent. You may at any time set your browser to accept or refuse cookies. The refusal of certain strictly necessary cookies may, however, impair the functioning of the Site or of certain features.
Most browsers allow you to manage your cookie preferences: accept all cookies; refuse them; accept some according to their origin; delete cookies already saved. The procedures are described in the help menu of your browser.
We share your personal data only with: technical service providers (Site host, maintenance, backup, newsletter sending tools); payment service providers, who process your payments securely; audience measurement providers, to the extent necessary to obtain anonymised or pseudonymised statistics; external advisers (legal, accounting) where necessary for the protection of our legitimate interests; public authorities or bodies where the law requires us to or in order to assert our rights.
These providers act, in principle, as processors within the meaning of the applicable legislation, on the basis of contracts strictly governing the use of your personal data.
Some of the personal data we process may be hosted or accessible outside Switzerland and the European Economic Area (EEA), for example when our providers use servers located in other countries.
In this case, we ensure that appropriate safeguards are put in place: an adequacy decision of the European Commission or of the Swiss Federal Council recognising an adequate level of protection; or the conclusion of standard contractual clauses and, where applicable, additional measures to ensure a level of protection substantially equivalent to that provided by the GDPR and/or applicable Swiss law.
We keep your personal data only for the time necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, subject to longer periods imposed by law. By way of indication:
In accordance with the applicable legislation (in particular Swiss law and, where applicable, the GDPR), you have the following rights regarding your personal data: right of access; right of rectification; right to erasure (“right to be forgotten”) in certain circumstances; right to restrict processing; right to object, for reasons relating to your particular situation, as well as to the use of your data for direct marketing purposes; right to data portability; right to withdraw your consent at any time where processing is based on it.
To exercise these rights, you may contact us at the details given in section 1. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority (for example the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner in Switzerland, or the data protection authority of your country of residence within the EEA).
We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against loss, unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration or destruction. However, no system is entirely secure; the use of the Internet always involves a certain level of residual risk, which you accept by using the Site.
We may amend this Privacy Policy from time to time, in particular to take account of changes in the applicable legislation, in our practices or in the features of the Site. The version in force is the one published on the Site on the date of your visit.
For any question concerning this Privacy Policy, our data practices or the exercise of your rights, you may contact us at contact@symphoniya.com, or by post to the Association Culturelle Symphoniya, c/o Claire Lugrin, Route de Mouthe 18B, 1343 Les Charbonnières, Switzerland.
