Works

The works are at the centre of the Symphoniya universe. Composed, signed, dated, they are works that open — works that set in motion, in whoever encounters them, the movement towards something vaster than oneself. They are shaped at the meeting point of a learned compositional rigour and a universal reach.

The Symphoniya works are Trance Symphonic works. Trance Symphonic Music is a cathedral of sound in the service of consciousness — an implacable mathematical architecture where each note stands in symmetrical relation to the whole of the system, where number is no longer abstraction but music. Inscribed in the classical symphonic tradition as a genre, it surpasses it as intention: it is not an art that is its own end, it is an art that opens.

Each work is a work. It has its own intention, its own language, its own architecture. All partake of the same gesture — that of a Music which serves something greater than itself, without thereby renouncing being fully Music.

The works are accessible here, through the doors the Symphoniya universe has given them. The listener who encounters them is the one who has made the journey to encounter them. It is to them that the works speak, in them to what is universal.

What follows is the corpus. The orchestral works in the order of their composition, the most recent first. Each opens onto its own presentation, where one may read what it carries, and choose to encounter it — through acquisition, or through online listening in the Salon d’écoute.
