Heaven is with me is a brief work, built around a single sung phrase — the one that gives it its title. The choir carries it from end to end, like a sustained affirmation that settles and remains.
It is a word of accompaniment : the simple idea of a presence at our side. Composed by Yves Ruhlmann according to the principles of Trance Symphonic Music, tuned in The Living Scale and at 432 Hz, it addresses what is universal in whoever listens to it.
Heaven is with me holds in about ten minutes and rests on a single principle : a sung phrase, taken up by the choir from beginning to end. This phrase — « Le Ciel est avec moi » — becomes the thread of the work, its spine ; the whole orchestra organises itself around it.
The choir — forty voices of the Sofia Session Orchestra & Choir, recorded in Sofia — utters this motif, while the strings, the winds and the percussion envelop and carry it, according to the symmetrical architecture proper to Trance Symphonic Music, tuned in The Living Scale and at 432 Hz.
Like the other works, Heaven is with me also exists in its separate voices — choir, strings, winds, percussion.
