A sound cathedral in the service of consciousness
Symphoniya Wave is the radio station of Symphoniya, a Swiss cultural association founded by composer Yves Ruhlmann. It broadcasts Transe Symphonic music around the clock — tonal, repetitive orchestral music made for immersion and the exploration of consciousness — alongside the Résonances for piano and the rest of the composer’s catalogue.
Programming
Continuous broadcasting, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, free of advertising. No announcements, no spoken word: nothing interrupts the listening.
The time slots are fixed; the works rotate on a weekly programme. The day alternates the Transe Symphonic works, the Résonances for piano and the rest of the composer’s catalogue. The slot currently on air is announced at the top of this page, with its times in your own time zone.
Entering the Symphoniya universe
The radio is one door. Here are six others.
The Transe Symphonic works
Everything the radio plays. A Transe Symphonic work is not an album: it is a cathedral of sound — acquiring it means owning it in its original quality and supporting this work.
Playing the works in your practice
Practitioners, venues, organisations: the usage licences are coming. Until then, write to us.
Training in a single day
The Symphoniya Class, which qualifies a practitioner to give sessions.
A work composed for you
A Quintessence Transe Symphonique dedicated to a person, a brand or an activity — or a Résonance at the piano.
The musical language
The book 1093 and the online presentations of how the musical language came to be.
Staying in touch on Telegram
The radio carries no advertising and no spoken word on air. So it is on Telegram that everything is said: releases, gatherings, works coming to the repertoire — and what the listening stirs in those who follow it. One channel per language.
Under each post, a discussion space is open to the channel’s subscribers. That is where you can leave a résonance: a word on what a work opened in you, or simply on what the listening brought.
And for a longer word, now and then: The Symphoniya Letter.
Listening elsewhere
Symphoniya Wave does not live on this page alone. The station is listed in the radio directories, where it can be added to your favourites.
