Miracles of Love and Gratitude

There are no words to describe all the miracles, all the graces that have occurred during the birthing, in this year 2024, of the Symphony of Love and Gratitude. There have been so many miracles around this work that it would be impossible to recount them all. What I have experienced as a composer around this work is a miracle in itself. It is as if this work knew, on its own, where it wanted to be created, when, and with whom. It is simply unimaginable. It is unimaginable and at the same time so beautiful. It is so beautiful, and it is so powerful to feel that it is so much greater than oneself, that it goes beyond us. And this greatness is the greatness of Love, the greatness of Gratitude, which have taken hold of this work, this cradle into which they were invited, and I remain so deeply moved by all these miracles. The work was recorded with the choir and orchestra of Sofia, in Bulgaria, which I had the honour of conducting, and here too so many miracles took place: the faces of the musicians lit up one by one, on a day that was nevertheless a national day of mourning in Bulgaria. Yes, the work chose to be born on the very day of the Bulgarian Patriarch’s funeral. My thanks to this hundred or so extraordinary musicians and choristers who so subtly interpreted this work, in the grace that carries it. I can speak with such praise about this work because I truly feel that I only brought it into the world and then watched it blossom by itself, and that moves me so deeply. This work chose the World Water Festival in Japan to be presented there in September, and it was completely natural, since these two words, Love and Gratitude, are dedicated to the wonderful research of Dr Masaru Emoto, who, throughout his life, never contemplated a more beautiful crystal than the one magnified by the combined vibration of the words Love and Gratitude. Then, still following the flow of water, it was just as unexpectedly that the work was presented at the International Scientific Conference on Water in Lisbon. Here is just a tiny glimpse of the avalanche of miracles and graces that are unfolding around this work. All the miracles are equally important and yet, there is one that touches me even more than all the others, and this miracle, I wish with all my heart to share it with you… This miracle arrives as if to take on a tangible, concrete form, something that can be seen, heard, touched. This miracle is the encounter with a being, the being who is the very voice of this work of Love and Gratitude. And that being is Kelly Aura. I do not have the words to describe all that surrounds this particular miracle, but fortunately the symphonic notes sublimated by Kelly’s voice are there to say it. Her voice and the music are there to proclaim the greatness of that which cannot be contained in words. What is present in this symphonic work with Kelly’s voice truly is, for me, an encounter with a kind of beauty that is simply unheard of here. Those who know Kelly Aura already know this, but do you have any idea what happens when Kelly’s voice meets this work of Love and Gratitude? The answer is simple: it is called a miracle… Thank you, Kelly, thank you, Life, and thank you to each of you.
