A meeting where piano music is born of listening and of resonance.
Piano en Résonance is a genre in its own right in my catalogue, born in 2016. Its principle holds in one sentence: I enter into resonance with a person, I listen to them, and I improvise for them a music that is dedicated to them.
On Wednesday 7 October, this meeting takes place by video call. I listen to the people present, I enter into resonance, and I let a dedicated music be born at the piano, live.
Each work born this way is a Resonance — they form a continuous series begun ten years ago, which today counts more than ninety Resonances.
Nothing to prepare, nothing to know: presence is enough, and it is presence that makes the music. The order of registration is the order of passage.
The meeting is offered.
The Resonance composed during the meeting is offered.
Only the recording of one’s Resonance, for those who wish to keep it, is proposed after the meeting — mixed and mastered, in CD quality (WAV 16-bit / 44.1 kHz), from 44 CHF / 44 €.
Nothing is owed, nothing is automatic: the request is made freely, after the live meeting.
Three fields are enough. The video call access details then arrive by email.
Looking forward to resonating together,
Yves Ruhlmann
Listen. Feel. Resonate.
